We've all heard it at some point on our search for love: "Love shows up when you least expect it." So, this means we should stop looking for love in order to find it. What if we applied this advice to other goals we have in our lives and the world?
Your ideal job will show up when you least expect it. You'll lose 20lbs when you least expect it. The dishwasher will repair itself when you least expect it. Our marital problems will resolve themselves when we least expect it. World peace will arrive when we least expect it. This philosophy begins to seem a little ridiculous, doesn't it?
And yet, we're all sold this ridiculous myth from a very young age that one day we'll bump into the love of our life and magically we'll know how to make it last. How's that working for you?
We know it isn't going well for most of you ... and it didn't happen for us that way either. We are all told that if we want a great career we have to set goals and work at it. If we want to be healthy, fit, and in shape, we have to be intentional, eat consciously, and be purposeful about it.
Yet, the most important thing of all — love, is constantly sold to us as a myth. We are told that everything will fall into place accidentally and magically.
Love, like anything we desire in our lives, takes intentional action. We can't expect it to happen by reading more articles on the internet. We can't expect it to happen by sitting at home and visualizing our ideal mate and then turning on the TV and vegging out for the night. We can't expect it to happen when we least expect it.

How To Bust The Myth
If you have decided that now is the time to get purposeful and intentional about love, here is a list of things that you can do:
  • Take an inventory of past relationships. How long did it last? Who initiated the break-up? Rate your attraction/attachment on a scale of 1-10. Look for any patterns that you see repeated.
  • Clear out any attachments to anyone from the past. Release them. Forgive them. Heal your heart. Move on. Holding onto the past will keep you stuck in the past.
  • Make a list of the qualities you want in a partner. Focus on who they and their values are rather than how they look or what they have. Now be completely honest with yourself — Do you have this quality? (We can only attract what we ourselves possess.)
  • See yourself with your soul mate. What does it feel like to be together? Imagine and believe that you already have what you desire.
  •  Do something different. Take a class, go to a new restaurant, try a new online dating site, or go on an adventure. In order to get something you've never had you have to do something you've never done.
These are just a few tools for you to begin thinking differently about how you create love.
It is helpful to start noticing what your limiting beliefs are about, what is available to you, and changing these thoughts to positive ones. For example, if you discover that you believe that "All men will cheat," you can change that to, "The men I love are loving me respectfully."
"All the good ones are taken," can become "My Beloved is on his way to me now." and "No one will love me for who I am," transforms to "I am worthy to receive all the love I desire." 3 Ways Successful Women Fail In Love
How To Get Unstuck
We are perplexed that many people feel that if you "create love" it somehow isn't romantic; that if it didn't happen magically and by accident that it is somehow fake or inauthentic. Nothing can be further from the truth! Each of us "creates" love. 4 Steps To Turn Your Date Into A Loving Relationship
We learned how to receive love at a very young age. Some experts call this your Love Script. We say that each of us is Imprinted with what love feels like to us. We go through our life looking to receive love in the same way. Maybe your father only gave you affection when you achieved something and now you feel like you have to prove your worthiness for love.
Maybe your mother was sick and you had to take care of her and now you are resentful that you give too much in relationships. Maybe you were told by your parents that your feelings didn't matter, and now struggle with expressing yourself and asking for what you need.
There are infinite ways we learn to receive love. However, that doesn't mean that we have to be stuck in repeating our patterns. Recognizing these patterns and learning effective communication tools will transform your relationships.
In order to do things differently when it comes to love, you have to let go of the old way that is not serving you, release your imprinting, and choose again with the conscious understanding of an adult.
Can you do this work on your own? Yes, although it will require a lot of trial and error. If this was easy to do, you would have figured it out by now. The reality is that in order to accomplish this effectively, the help of a professional is priceless.
This is exactly why we have gathered together 25 top experts in Love, Dating, Sex, Relationships — everything you need to bust this myth in one global online event — the Love On Purpose Revolution. Join us this spring and get the tools you need to have happy, healthy, loving relationships. You may even learn how to attract your soul mate and make it last.

10 More Ideas to Help With LonelinessThis guest article from YourTango was written by Brock Hansen.

Have you ever been lonely in a crowd? Have you ever been perfectly content all alone? Me too. And I have also suffered from loneliness.
Loneliness is a complex mental and emotional phenomenon that has at its base a powerful emotion that has survival value for children. All of us have experienced some degree of abandonment, if only for a short time, and remember the painful and scary feeling that goes along with it.
Whenever we are reminded of this feeling or anticipate it in the future, we get a twinge of abandonment distress that we experience as loneliness. This can happen among a crowd of friends or even after making love. It can be pretty confusing and can put you off your game if you don’t know what’s going on.
Here are some tips for recognizing loneliness for what it is and dealing with it in the healthiest ways.

1. Realize that loneliness is a feeling, not a fact. When you are feeling lonely, it is because something has triggered a memory of that feeling, not because you are in fact, isolated and alone. The brain is designed to pay attention to pain and danger, and that includes painful scary feelings; therefore loneliness gets our attention.
But then the brain tries to make sense of the feeling. Why am I feeling this way? Is it because nobody loves me? Because I am a loser? Because they are all mean? Theories about why you are feeling lonely can become confused with facts. Then it becomes a bigger problem so just realize that you are having this feeling and accept it without over reacting.
Check out YourTango for relationship advice
2. Reach out because loneliness is painful and can confuse you into thinking that you are a loser, an outcast. You might react by withdrawing into yourself, your thoughts, and your lonely feelings and this is not helpful. At its best, anticipation of loneliness might motivate us to reach out and cultivate friendships, which is the healthiest thing to do if you are sad and alone. When you are a child, and your sadness causes you to cry, you may evoke a comforting response from others. If you’re an adult, not so much.

3. Notice your self deflating thoughts.  We often create self centered stories to explain our feelings when we are young, it is not unusual for children to assume that there is something wrong with them if they are not happy. If they are lonely and sad, children may assume other people don’t like them when this is rarely the case.
Victims of bullying may well have fans and friends, but they often aren’t aware of it because the shame and loneliness get more attention. Habitual assumptions about social status continue into adulthood and if you are looking for evidence that the world sucks, you can always find it.
4. Make a plan to fight the mental and emotional habits of loneliness. If you realize you are dealing with an emotional habit, you can make a plan to deal with loneliness. Since healthy interaction with friends is good, make some effort to reach out to others, to initiate conversation and face time even when your loneliness and depression are telling you not to. Yes, it is work, but it is worthwhile, just like exercising is worthwhile even when you are feeling tired or lazy.
5. Focus on the needs and feelings of others, the less attention on your lonely thoughts and feelings. I can walk down the street thinking about myself, my loneliness and the hopelessness of it all, staring at the sidewalk and sighing to myself. Or I can walk down the street grateful for the diversity of people I get to share the sidewalk with, silently wishing them good health and good fortune, and smiling at each person I meet. The latter is more fun, even though I sometimes have to remind myself to do it on purpose.
6. Find others like you. Now days there are more tools than ever before to find out where the knitters, hikers or kiteboarders are congregating so that you can get together with those who share your interests. This makes it much easier to identify groups with which you will have something in common, a natural basis for beginning a friendship.
7. Always show up when meeting up with others. You don’t have to run for president of the knitters society at your first meeting. But you do have to show up. I have been telling others to practice yoga for 20 years and promising I would do it myself for just as long, but except for the occasional coincidental yoga offering at a retreat, I didn’t take the trouble of finding a class I could attend regularly until a month ago. Now I am enjoying it and it wasn’t that hard. I have put a reminder in my phone to resign from the procrastinator’s society.
8. Be curious, but don’t expect perfection or applause. Each time you show up is an experiment, a micro adventure in social bonding. If you are curious about and interested in others, they will be attracted to you because you are giving them attention. So you will get attention in return. Curiosity about others also takes your focus away from those painful feelings that tend to make you hide and sulk.
9. Kindness goes a long way. “There’s nobody here but us chickens.” This is one of my favorite lines from The Lazy Man’s Guide to Enlightenment by Thaddeus Golas. Underneath the impressive facades of the high fliers are the same set of emotions we all are born with. Celebrities suffer from stage fright and depression too.
You have the power to offer loving kindness and generosity of spirit to all you come into contact with. It isn’t instinctual to be kind to strangers or people who scare you. But it is a choice. It is a choice that Jesus and Ghandi used intentionally. And in the long run it is a winning choice. The alternative, being mean or stingy with those you don’t know well, can get you a reputation as a Scrooge.
10. Be persistent even if a particular group does seem to be a dead end for you, try another. AA and AlAnon recommend that everyone try six different groups to find one that suits you best. If you are persistent, challenging the assumptions and feelings that tell you to give up and resign yourself to a life of loneliness, and showing up and being curious and kind to others and more and more groups, the odds are in your favor.

And once you have a friend or two, nourish those friendships with time and attention. Don’t be too cautious about whether you are giving more than you are getting at first. If you make more friends and some of them are takers, you can choose to spend more time with the friends who reward your friendship.

  1. Step 1: Download the Windows 10 ISO image from Microsoft’s web site. Alternatively you can download the web installer from the same page and just choose to upgrade your PC, which is the easiest option.
  2. Step 2: If you are installing on a regular PC with Windows already on it, you’ll be prompted immediately to start the upgrade process. Alternatively, you can burn it to an optical disk or create a bootable disk . Otherwise, just attach the ISO image using the virtual machine software of your choice (assuming your virtual machine already has Windows 7 or 8 installed).
  3. Step 3: Install it mostly by clicking the Next button, making sure to choose Upgrade when prompted. If you want to clean install, follow our clean install instructions instead.
  4. Note: Now that Windows 10 is released, you’re going to need a valid windows license  key for windows 7,8,8.1 in order to perform the upgrade.
For posterity, here are all of the installation steps if you’re booting from a flash drive, although you could just remember the word “Next” and get through it fine. Just remember to choose Upgrade when prompted unless you’ve previously upgraded and activated Windows 10 on this computer.
When you first boot the computer you’ll see a screen like this one:
Click Next and you’ll be taken to the Install now button screen. Which obviously you should click.
At this point you can choose whether you want to upgrade Windows or install a new custom install. Since we’re recommending that everybody install into a virtual machine or on a test PC, you should select Custom here.
Update: You should probably choose to Upgrade the first time, because the license key might not work otherwise.
At this point you’ll need to pick where to install Windows 10. You might need to delete or create a partition, but if you are using a virtual machine, you can just click Next.
And now it will install.
Once the PC reboots again, you’ll be able to select the settings like whether Windows Updates are enabled (they aren’t allowed to be disabled in the preview). We’d recommend just using the express settings if you are using a test machine — use Custom if you’re really going to use the computer.
And now you can sign into your Microsoft account. We’d recommend using a Microsoft account because otherwise you won’t be able to use half of the new features and you may as well use Linux or stick with Windows 7.
If you’ve setup your account properly you’ll probably be asked to verify it in the middle. We excluded those steps from this article, but they are pretty simple.
Now you’ll be asked how to setup the PC. Since we wanted to test everything as a new computer, we chose to set it up as a new PC instead, but you could copy all your settings from another computer if you wanted to.
Want to use OneDrive? It’s nicely integrated into Windows, so we just left it alone.
And now a colorful screen that tells us things are happening.
And finally, we are at the desktop! Note that the desktop on the full release of Windows 10 looks different, and this screenshot came from a pre-release version.
Now click that Start button. Click it. You know you want to.

At the very least, blogging can be a great source of side income, and at the most, the primary way in which you make your living. Here are five ways you can start pulling in money from blogging today.
Most bloggers maintain their blogs solely for personal reasons: as an easy way to communicate the latest news to family and friends, for instance, or even just for the fun of it. But blogging can also be a way to make money on the side, or even — if you spend enough time on it — a primary source of income.
Have you been told this before and disregarded it, thinking it was just another work from home scam? Are you skeptical that you could actually make any money blogging? Blogging certainly isn’t a get rich quick scheme, so don’t expect overnight riches — but if you are willing to put in the necessary time and effort, you could earn a tidy income from blogging.

Here are a five ways to start making money blogging right away.

1. Look for paid blogging gigs.
The best way to start getting paid to blog right away is to get a blogging job. Look for a gig that pays per blog post or a gig that pays ad revenue on a really well known, high-traffic site. Blogging for ad revenue shares on a virtually unheard-of blog should be avoided — the pay will most likely not be worth your effort, and unless the site owner is doing a good job of promoting their new blog or blog network, you may even be able to make more with advertising revenue on your own blog.
Blogging gigs come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Sometimes a company will hire a freelance writer to research, write, and maintain their company blog. Other times the company might hire you to write posts that will be placed on other people’s blogs (Guest blogging gigs), in order to promote the company on the Internet. Some blog owners also pay bloggers to help them write for a blog that has gotten too big for them to maintain alone, or even for one-off guest posts.
Blogging gigs are great because they offer an immediate source of income. They often don’t require you to do the legwork in order to promote the blog, and you can negotiate the terms so that you get a decent wage from the work you are doing.
2. Put ads on your own blog or blogs.
Basically, your blog will be most successful if you research to find a good niche (or several good niches, if you plan on starting more than one blog), post frequently, and promote your blog in order to build readership.
Whether you have an existing blog or are just starting one, you can get set up quickly and easily with pay-per-click ad services such as AdSense, and get started selling ad space right away. These services pay you every time someone clicks on an ad; payments per click may be just pennies, or as much as a dollar or two, depending on the ad and its placement. More popular and established blogs will attract higher-paying ads.
You can also sell ad space directly to companies. Generally companies will pay you a certain amount per month to run their ad; the amount your blog can command will depend on your traffic and your conversion rate (which you can get from your AdSense ads). This is a preferable way to make money from ads, because you get a guaranteed amount each month, and because companies tend to pay more when they deal with you directly.
3. Sell products on your blogs via affiliate ads.
Companies like Amazon introduced affiliate ads, which essentially allows you to list another company’s products on your page and earn a commission for any sales that go through your site. Selling products on your site via an affiliate program has a few benefits. One, you don’t have to go through all the work of selling your own products, such as storing inventory, shipping items, and setting prices — you just get a commission on every item that sells through the referral links placed on your blog. In addition, you can offer a wide variety of products tailored to your readers or your specific niche, and you can offer an even better variety if you establish affiliate relationships with more than one company.
4. Sell your own products on your blog.
Have something that you want to sell? You can use blogs to sell almost anything, from online garage sales or yard sales, to ebooks. Blog posts can be used to describe products, answer questions, and push sales. Blogging platforms such as Blogger and WordPress make designing and managing a blog much easier than building your own website from scratch, not to mention blogs can offer a friendlier, more casual forum in which to push your product. More people buy things online than ever before, but by selling items on a blog, you won’t have to pay the fees that eBay and other sites charge.

5. Use your blog to promote your business.
Finally, a blog can easily be used to promote your own business. For instance, many freelance writers keep blogs so that they can network with other freelancers and reach clients by offering advice and improving their website’s search engine ranking. Other businesses, from insurance agents to cleaning companies, also maintain blogs to help establish themselves as experts and provide information for web surfers.
  • Benefits of blogging for business
Blogging helps you to make money by promoting your business in a couple of ways. For one thing, it improves your website’s search engine ranking by updating your site more often and helping to generate links to your site via your blog. It also provides a forum where you can talk about your business, your services and/or products, and draw in potential clients by providing a valuable source of information on the subject.
Many people have found blogging to be a source of income, but not everyone goes about it the same way. Using one or more of the five approaches described here, you can easily and quickly start raking in money by blogging!

There are over one billion people using Facebook (as of Nov. 2015), showing a great potential for marketers, SEO agency professionals and brands to reach their target audience. The great thing about Facebook is that it's very large and active. People log into their accounts daily to check messages, like and share posts and communicate with people and brands.
Wccftect image

What really sets Facebook apart from the other platforms is its high-tech capabilities. One area that is worth looking into is the Facebook ads platform. This is a rich and powerful tool that can be used to get your content in front of people who are most likely to engage and convert. Paid advertising is still a thriving business, especially for brands that are serious about promoting their products and services.
But as with any PPC campaign, you need to have a strategy in place. A lot of businesses give up on Facebook ads too soon. An SEO agency that offers social media management services can help develop a strategy and implement it for you.
Companies determined to launch a successful social media marketing campaign can use the following tips.
Get to Know Your Audience
Facebook ads come with a cool feature called "audience insights", and what this allows you to do is fine tune your target audience. You select an interest your prospects have and then data will be collected, which can be used to enhance your campaign. The criteria is quite extensive, allowing you to choose demographics, gender, age, location and so on.

Create Multiple Campaigns
You have a better chance of converting prospects by targeting specific interests than grouping together multiple interests. Mass marketing rarely works, especially in today's world where consumers want to feel connected with the brands they shop with. Separating your campaigns will also give invaluable insights into who is converting.
Don't Make Too Many Changes
Keep each change to a minimal. If you change too much too quickly, then you won't be able to determine what exactly caused your campaign to improve or decline. It also takes time for the Facebook algorithm to adjust to changes, so patience is key.
Watch, Analyze and Adjust
Keep a close eye on the analytics to see what needs to be changed. Pay attention to the age, gender, devices and regions of conversions. Also, there is an ad relevance score provided which tells you on a scale of 1 to 10 how relevant your ad is to the target audience you've selected. SEO agency professionals are fairly familiar with Facebook ads and can help you with learning the algorithm and A/B testing your ads.
I Think an Idea is a leading, full service internet marketing agency. I Think an Idea works with serious business owners small to large alike. Based out of Los Angeles, CA providing great results for services such as SEO, social media marketing, Online reputation management and PPC management. I Think an Idea can maximize your search engine presence and amplify your brand across social media channels, and help safeguard your reputation.

Often beginners find themselves asking is there a special ingredient I missed?
Did (enter big name you like) just get lucky? Is there a secret?
While these are all practical questions you will find some of all those things if you look at other affiliate marketers, some did get lucky, some did get a special ingredient. I can't do the research to find out what all of those things are.
What I can do is explain the required elements that they all have in common.
Today I am going to cover something that all of them have in common.
Their own website
The most important tool of doing anything online, whether it is affiliate marketing or any other online marketing is a website.
It can be a free website however most people recommend a self-hosted WordPress website, they are easy to manage, and learn, loads of plugins to make it user friendly and visually appealing and being yours, no one can take it away from you.

A mistake that was commonly made a few years ago was building up Facebook fan pages instead of mailing lists. Facebook's algorithm was then changed and business owners could no longer reach as many fans as they wanted to.
The most important elements about your site is that it needs to

  • Look professional
  • Look credible (no spammy images please)
  • Have some way of collecting email addresses (it doesn't matter if this is slow in the beginning)
  • Have content that your ideal customer is looking for.
It has been quoted many times over that content is the reason search engines exist. It will pay you to remember that, always.
When building your site the main question to ask yourself is will it work?
Will whatever your uploaded be useful to your audience?
Will it work for your goal for it?
Remember content does not only provide information,
You could create content that has a primary goal of getting shared, another piece might be to drive subscribers, another to simply provide information and prove you are knowledgeable, then there are the pieces designed only to sell.
Make sure your site is a good mix of all.
I recommend every 10 pieces of content are broken down like this
2 sales
3 sharable
And 5 for entertainment and educational purposes.
An autoresponder
Due to technology people and customers attention spans have shortened over time. Most successful affiliate marketers have an autoresponder, I say most. There are people like Ben Settle that email daily that I do not believe use one but if you are looking for passive income and to work your customers through a sales funnel an autoresponder is truly the professional way.
Auto responders send emails based on a schedule you have created. This is usually a schedule that starts when someone subscribes and contains your welcome email that gives them whatever they opted in for, followed by a check up, or explanatory email, then your follow up sequence.
This can be a simple emailing a few times a week providing content and sales pitches or I have seen a complete 365 day funnel where everyday something is emailed, this requires evergreen content but can be set up over time and then emailed out as people subscribe.
The 2 most common mailing list service providers are GetResponse and Aweber. They are both premium providers but very affordable.
If you have a WordPress site and want to take the free route, MailPoet is very good but will mostly keep you in the spam folder unless you convince subscribers to whitelist you. This won't happen as often as you like and your open rates will suffer.
The option is there and completely yours to choose.
Backlinks
I hate to say it because I know it is the bane of every website owner's life, but the unfortunate reality is if you want to do well with search engine traffic you will need people linking to you.
You can no longer simply submit to article directories and hope it works.

Brian Dean from Backlinko provides details of the skyscraper method to build links. The premise is to create a better post than anything else out there and tell people about it. I don't like it personally but it does work.
Creating infographics is another method that you can use, you will need to share them with other site owners so that they know they exist and there are a few sites that you can visit that allow you to upload infographics.
Guest posting. Regardless of what you have heard guest posts are still a great way to build backlinks, you just need to be smarter about it than before. Choose sites that are really relevant to your ideal customer, make sure they have a low spam score by looking them up somewhere like Moz OpenSiteExplorer.
So yes although there might be a secret sauce so to speak, when it comes to affiliate marketing or any marketing online, these are the 3 things all the successful marketers have in common.
Sometimes it is good to break the rules, the choice is yours.

Affiliate marketing is one of the best things that you can do online. It's a simple element that could start as a hobby, then grow into a full-fledged job. People of all ages and backgrounds have joined this opportunity and are seeing huge income pushes. It's something that you don't always see advertised, but those that have started to make money online, know full well how important these options can be and are. If you have ever wanted to jump into something on the internet, and didn't know how to get yourself started, then this is going to pay off dividends. There are several reasons why you should jump into affiliate networking, but the following are just 3 major reasons.
No Need To Pay Money Up Front
When you start a business of any kind, you need to have money to invest. The average business loan is around $50,000. If you don't have that to start, then you will find that it's hard to get into business for yourself. Even franchise owners have to spend a great deal to get started, and that's not even using marketing elements that come from a corporate entity. The best thing that you will find true about this type of option is that you do not have to pay any money up front at all. That's right, there is no funding your dream, and there is no need to pay. If you find an affiliate network forces you to pay, walk away. There should be no costs to this.

Invest In What You Love
Perhaps the best thing about this is that you can do what you love. If you love to spend time online, review products, services, and perhaps voice your opinion on certain things, you can do so by being an affiliate. Affiliates today are able to not only help others make purchasing decisions, they get paid for each and every person they get to buy something. You could very well discuss skateboards, and invite skaters from around the world to click your links, and buy from a store. This allows people to get an item that they want, and you to get a commission, all while not charging more for the privilege.
Partner With Big Companies
If you want the experience of internet marketing with a large company, you can do so in this fashion. While you may not be employed by them, if you make over $600 with affiliate marketing links, you will receive a 1099. That means that on the books, you will be working with a major company. Put that on your work history and resume, and you'll be able to land any job you ever apply for.

The aforementioned are just 3 reasons why you should work with affiliate marketing. It's going to pay off big time if you start today. You can start today with a few links, and get a lot of good momentum in terms of your financial future. Simply put, this is a good thing, and something that doesn't require a great deal of investment up front.
