Relationships that work are the ones that are worked on. If you are wondering where to begin, here are some areas that can always use a little TLC.
* Communication. Being able to share the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual aspects of your life, without feeling judged or devalued, is what good communication is all about. Neither you nor your partner is a mind reader, so you need to let each other know what you’re thinking and feeling. Remember that communication is the most important part of your relationship.

*Acknowledgment. From simply saying thank you to expressing your appreciation on a deeper level, you need to let each other know that you are grateful for one another’s actions and supportive of each other’s efforts. Look for every opportunity to show your partner that you are receiving your love’s positive energy and responding appropriately.

*Interdependence. Being truly interdependent means being involved with each other in a supportive manner without compromising your values or sacrificing yourself for the relationship.  Interdependence means having time to yourself as well as time together.
The key is finding the right balance.circumstancesss. Have fun together. Whether it’s the tried-and-true or something new, being playful keeps your love growing. Every time you do something to make your partner smile, it creates chemicals like oxytocin, sometimes called the “cuddle hormone,” in both of your brains, which makes you feel closer.

*Acceptance. We all need to learn how to accept each other and our circumstances, so we can move forward in a way that enhances our lives and relationships. Make an honest assessment of where you are in your life right now and accept it. It’s the only way you can move to the next level.
*Positivity. Make the mutual choice to maintain a positive attitude. Being positive may be the key to keeping harmony. You can control your behaviors and even your moods when necessary, and having a loving partner who is willing to be there for you, even when you are struggling, can’t help but make your relationship more positive.
*Reinforcement Showering your partner with little gifts, staying in touch during the day if you’re apart, and being there for your partner, no matter what, are just some of the ways you can reinforce your relationship. Be mindful of any actions or behaviors that might undermine your love and get them changed ASAP.
*Honesty. Having a partner you can trust creates a buffer between you and the difficulties of the world. When you have a mate you can rely on, it’s easier to take those risks that help you grow. Always be honest with each other about your feelings and needs, and remember that you can tell the truth without being harsh.
Every successful relationship needs the care and nurturing of two committed adults, giving to each other in a way that creates a mutually beneficial connection.
Giving your relationship what it needs to thrive is a truly loving gesture. Make the effort. You are both worth it.

A wildland fire burning in north Thornton on Friday afternoon was threatening structures, authorities say.
Flames from Thornton grass fire are very close to a nearby neighborhood
The burn is near 136th Avenue just west of Quebec Street. North Metro Fire Rescue says several agencies are responding to the scene.
“It does look like we have enough containment to where the structures are not
threatened,” Sara Farris, spokeswoman for North Metro, said about 4:15 p.m.
The Thornton Fire Department says the U.S. Forest Service and aerial resources are being summoned.
Photos from the scene showed a large smoke plume billowing into the air. The blaze’s cause was not immediately known.

Police have made an arrest in the killing of Deeniquia Dodds, the 22-year-old transgender woman shot in Northeast D.C. this July.
Shareem Hall, 22, was arrested Thursday, Interim Police Chief Peter Newsham
announced at a news conference.
"In all likelihood, we believe the motive in this case was robbery," he said.
Dodds, known to loved ones as Dee Dee, was shot just a few blocks from home, on the 200 block of Division Avenue NE, police said.
"Her murder reminds us all of how often the transgender community is targeted for violence in our society," LGBT activist Earline Budd previously said in a statement.
Family members worried about Dodds' safety because she worked as a prostitute, according to Joeann Lewis, who raised her.
Hall, of District Heights, Maryland, was charged with murder while armed. Hate crime charges and an enhanced penalty will be "a serious consideration," Newsham said. Hall did not know Dodds, the interim police chief said.
Newsham thanked the Metropolitan Police Department's homicide unit and witnesses who called in information. Criminals will be held accountable, he said.
"Whenever we lose a life in our city, we take it personally," Newsham said. "We want folks to know that we are going to continue to work to make sure we hold people responsible for this kind of violence on our streets."
Dodds was "a beautiful person," according to Joeann Lewis, who raised her.
"Loved to make you laugh. Loved to make you smile," she previously told News4.
Transgender people face an increased rate of violence, and more transgender people were killed in 2015 -- 21 people -- than in any other year on record, according to the Human Rights Campaign, an advocacy organization.
Five other transgender people have been killed in D.C. since August 2002, according to police records.

I am so glad that the biggest and most loved Pop duo in Africa – P-Square, are back in the game once more. They are back and even better than ever with a brand new tune titled – “Bank Alert“.
I miss their amazing songs and I am pretty sure you do too. From what I have gathered, the video has already been shot, so get streaming and download the audio while waiting patiently for the video; you know they got that on lock-down.
